I just finished buliding it a couple weeks ago. It's a 2010 spec Xray 808 with an Elite motor mount and RCM battery tray/esc mount. Xray is working on a factory 808e, but I'm impatient and the protoypes don't look like anything too special so I just did this one up my way. Running a Tekin 1700kv on 4s. So far it's plenty fast, easy to drive, and very efficient. We'll see for sure this summer, but I have gone from a 2200 to a 1900 and now a 1700 and each one is a little better for me. I just don't need the gobs of horsepower the higher KV motors put out. More wheel spin makes me slower and batteries dump faster. |
